abbey and i are heading to florida for two weeks...to see...

grace...(and other family members)

play with the puppies...

spend time with esther and her family...visiting her in ocala

abbey will be taking riding lessons from her big sis...

my little graduate

ellery graduated from preschool...next is kindergarten.

we were all so proud and happy for her.

she's got the love of Jesus in her heart...too precious.

jesse had to make a speech...he is terrified of public

speaking...you would have never guessed.

excellent delivery of some powerful words.

dad and jesse worked on the speech together.

just a few quotes:

"there are a few people that i need to thank for helping me get to this point in life. of course my mom and dad, sisters and brothers... "

"but this is not just about me, it is about us!...now it is our responsibility

to take what we know and further our education. then, eventually, unleash ourselves on the

watching jesse pass throught this momentous occasion was inspiring.

he is a young man whose character is something to be proud of.

the tassel has moved over to the other side...now you will have new adventures.

sweet friends we have known forever...britanni, jesse, and victoria.

we are proud of all of you...for a job well done.

everyone loves flowers...they attract bees.

below is a picture of susan branches garden in martha's vineyard.

it does remind me of our little fenced in areas here at dash home farm.

she has these wonderful bee skeps for sale at her website.

my mother's day

thank you my wonderful family for such a lovingly thought out day
to celebrate...me! you all are just wonderful.

i have a favourite bagel place i like to go...brueggers.
so today my family made me an everything bagel with turkey bacon, egg and cheddar.
fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee. yummy it was so good...and at home.

i love to sit on my porch and swing or read...so time was made for that.

as gardeners you know one of the things we like best is being in the garden...so

today jesse and i planted a flat of impatiens...red and white.

i haven't planted these since being in tennessee but i do really love them.

my climbing roses are making a show on the front arbor.

one of the most exciting things was planting my magnolia...been

waiting a while to plant it because of all the work in the

vegetable, wildflower gardens...but jesse and abbey knew this would make me happy.

so in the ground they dug and finally my first magnolia in

the ground here at dash home farm...i am complete.

last but not least after spending the day mostly outdoors...

they are making me a wonderful dinner...lamb chops, fresh field greens, and garlic potatoes.

so off i go to eat dinner with my fabulous family...

oh they got me a wonderful summer purse too.

you all are the best.
