i arrived at meems yesterday to a wonderful dinner with family.
she always has everything so welcoming.
there were eight of us at this very intimate gathering.
my room was awaiting my arrival with fresh asters amongst greenery,
rose petals, and a charming set of hand towels for me to take home.

thanks tina, as you can see the theme of dinner was all about valentine's. it was so pretty, not to mention her cooking, oh so good.

meems kept saying she doesn't ever remember it like that before. i am hoping for sunshine tomorrow.

hope things are well in spring hill. i know it's cold there. the weather today was weird. very foggy! we went to the beach in a convertible. but stayed indoors a long while at a quaint little place called ginny's on anna maria island. it was full of antiques and had a really neat luncheon place with homebaked goodies.
i am having a great time.
