morning time

as the sun rises over our home the front porch is flooded with light.

this week has been glorious porch weather.

so we find ourselves drawn outdoors in the early morning
hours in our pj's enjoying simple pleasures.

our dogs are relishing in this fact.
abbey and beatrice enjoying lots of up~close and personal
time.

beatrice guards our farm vigilantly and does it well.
but we have a secret about our bea....she is the sweetest
thing ever. if she isn't getting your full attention...she gently
raises her paw for a quick reminder to pay her attention.
with her over 100 pound body she couldn't be more of a softie.

this always delights abbey.

so spending some much needed morning time
together on the porch is no chore but a pleasure.

what a wonderful time of the year.
happy autumn.

Sweet pictures. I can't believe how big Beatrice is. She's a beauty for sure.

Great post. I heard a comment today - Make a list of the positive things in your life instead of the negative.

Those mornings are precious. I've had the opportunity to enjoy just such mornings but it has been a few yrs. I shall never forget them.

Beautiful autumn mornings are a gift from God!

We have a Great Pyrenees down the road, he is such a softie.
