smitten by gardens in buffalo

i really didn't know what to expect from the garden walk in buffalo...but i must say i
was completely smitten by the jam~packed way the gardens were so full and pleasing to the eye.

every window box was overflowing with gorgeous foliage and flowers.
every venue we were shown had it own charms.

we were graced with host and hostesses that knew how
to keep us busy and entertained.
had organized our tours and times to the T.

i have so many photos and so little time...
just welcomed a new grandbaby on july 22.
as i have reflected back on my time in buffalo, ny it has just
gotten sweeter and sweeter. i was able to meet some wonderful
people whose blogs i had been following for a couple of
years and also make some new friends with people i had never known.

what a treat it was having the time to go to buffa10.

meeting fellow gardeners & bloggers was a special part of it.
happy summer days to you all.

Marmee,
Those window boxes were outstanding... I couldn't take enough photos of them. You took some good pics of some nooks and crannies I didn't see. So fun spending the time with you in Buffalo. Life has not stopped for very many seconds since we returned... glad we could fit it in. I thought it was a great city!

meems,

i only touched the surface with this post but i hope to get to more. with the way time is flying and being spent rapidly we will just have to wait and see.
we did have a great time being together in the heat, the rain, the perfect day at the shadracks.
so glad we could do it together.
happy summer times and days.

I envy everyone who had the opportunity to go and see these beautiful gardens. I always think of Buffalo as the city with the big snowfalls. Now I'll think of it as the city of beautiful gardens.

How cool that you got to go to Buffalo! I have enjoyed seeing people's photos. I am also enjoying the photos of your gorgeous granddaughter.

I should have said, "granddaughters" instead of "granddaughter".

The gardens do look amazing. Love the window boxes.
Many blessings to your new little one and her parents....sweet memories for sure.
It has been too hot here to enjoy gardens...
thank goodness the butterflies have been about to help me forget about being miserable.
