our summer bounty



this is my entry for the
gardening gone wild photo contest.
they are asking for an abundant harvest photo.....we had a
wonderful abundance of these delicious melons and
berries....something we enjoyed all summer long.


ps...don't miss the last post before this about our f/farmer's market.

i looked back at all the harvest photos and none stood out until i saw this one. well a few but this one is so juicy and makes you want to take a bite, right? we will see.
i am so sure you have some great photos for this category because i have seen them. good luck when/if you enter.

Hi Marmee.......the combination of colour and presentation is wonderful.....the melon and berries look truly scrumptious.........I ate lots of melon in Florida for breakfast......yummy

good day, you are kind to say compliment my photos like that. it is wonderful to capture a child's joy because they give it so readily...abbey is definitely my muse.

i feel the same way when i see that photo...too bad the garden is only giving a few now. they were so good and spoiled me for getting them anywhere else.

melon is just a whole goodness fruit that makes you feel so good after eating. this photo always makes me want some.
i am so glad you were able to get some good ones while stateside.
