vet visit at home

we are an animal family.
6 dogs, 3 cats, 2 bunnies, and 1 horse.
so having a vet come to our home for a visit is great.
our dogs all got an exam and shots.
our two youngest cats got spayed. it was so convenient.
it was also stress~free...which is great.
some of our dogs are not good car riders.

bronte' jane was dubbed very healthy.

beatrice was her usual calm self.

lylah was her usual nervous self.

vixen was her usual shy self.

did you notice we had a new dog. our son found this unusual dog.
we call it a whatchamacallitdogfoxwolfkindaofathing.
she was a pitiful skin and bones pup.
two months later...she looks really healthy.
we are calling her vixen...i have tried to find a home for her but nothing so far.
anybody want a sweet puppy that looks like a wild dog?
you laugh and say no.

well for now and maybe forever she has a home.
happy january.

What a fabulous idea ... a vet on wheels! All Creatures Great and Small modernized! How sweet you are taking the little fellow in... pretty pup! Thanks for your milk info. I am mostly veggie and eat only organic food... I use to love my neighbors fresh cow milk but I truly cannot eat it anymore. I gave up butter for olive oil and frankly now i love that better... even on popcorn with nutritional yeast. I do eat goats milk, yogurt and cheese. Glad to have found my way to your site! Carol

Yes, as Carol said, what a marvelous idea, Marmee! Thanks for guiding her over to your site, a gift, seeing the world through your 'love for life' eyes!

How neat to have the Vet visit your home. SO much easier!!!!! I remember when I was a little girl and our family doctor made house calls. That was so special. Our doctor was Dr. Sutherland. He was a handsome man...

Thanks for helping me think of these good memories.
Hugs,
Betsy

I got down to Vixen and thought... "I know I've been absent from blogging for a bit but how did I miss the addition of another doggie?" That last capture of her is superb... even makes ME want to consider a rescue. I'm sure she loves it right where she is... soon you will need an addition on your home to house the canines.

So smart of the Vet to make house calls... especially in your area.
hugs to you... Meems
