rainy days always get me high

what a difference a week or two can make. we have rain, glorious rain today.

not the kind that comes and goes but a steady downpour. enough to fill up the dry creek right outside of the backdoor.

i am so thankful for this rain.

i could actually do a happy rain dance.

rain drops keep falling on head!

Marmee-Congrats on your rain! I love that creek behind your house. Wish I had one of those.

Also, I have passed an award on to you. Come and check out my blog.

The rain has been nice. Almost 2 inches at my house which is good for the garden.

Marmee,
Isn't it great how everything looks so green after a rain. You can water your plants forever but they never look as good as they do after a few hours of nice, steady rain.

A creek outside your back door.....you are so lucky......
glad you have the rain you wanted.....we have way to much here at the moment causing flooding and several people have lost their lives......

cheryl,

oh i am so sorry! the weather can be devastating. i hope all is well with you.
our creek is for run off so it is dry sometimes and wet a good deal of the time. of course i like it when we have enough water. we have a bridge over it to the potting shed and garages.

We did get a nice amount didn't we! I know how you feel, I went for a walk in the rain with a friend...brollies in hand (she is English, so they are brollies). I woke up last night thinking about how easy it was going to be to weed! I must be totally addicted to gardening!
