characters welcome

CINDERELLERY

the signal must have gone out from the farm because we
had all kinds of princesses and other characters
show up ready to have a good time.
JASMINE(ABIGAIL)
CLEOPATRA aka QUEEN OF DE'NILE(GWYN)

THE SCARECROW CAME WITH A BRAIN AND ALL HER HEART

A MORE GROWN UP CLEOPATRA(ESTHER) AND HER SLEEPING BEAUTY(GRACE)
were in the crowd too.

lots of hugs...kisses...holding of hands...
laughter...giggling...

PART OF THE MOD SQUAD WAS CINDERELLERY'S MOM(RACHEL)
(i never knew)

there were apples for bobbing...

occasionally teeth were captured instead of apples.

...everyone decorated individual pumpkin cakes, even GRUMPY(ERIC) ...

JESSE(the beardless wonder) came as well!

...we ate and sat around the firepit...

...then there were hayrides...

we played put the face on the pumpkin, blindfolded of course.

DAVID aka(the best son ever)

MAYI did it too!

...talking FLAMEHEADS came bearing peace...

duck , duck, duck...

ETHAN'S lovely girlfriend came, CANAAN

...doughnuts on a string was a children's game until this year
when, ahem, an adult insisted the big kids wanted to play...

...there was bowling for gourds...

thank you, friends for coming to our fun harvest/costume party!
love, SPARTACUS AND HIS WOMAN WITH JASMINE

Looked like so much fun and great memories for all of the kids. It made me remember doing donuts on a string when I was little. Thanks for sharing and inspiring ideas.

Thank you, dear Marmee, for including us in your festive party with lovely family and friends. How fun and wonderful memories. I hosted parties like this when my children were young ~ now I'm attending their Halloween parties and you've given me some good ideas for my costume!
