isn't life grand
we made it to the beach, just me and meems. not sure we have ever done this before, without husbands or children, just us. it is so nice and quiet...peaceful. the sun...
I can just hear your two sisters sitting there on the beach talking and talking--just like I do when I'm with best friend Judy... The talking never ends--does it?????
ENJOY... I only wish I had have had a sister... Oh Well!!! Hugs, Betsy
Today those sunny scenes look so good. It's rainy and 60-degrees here and I feel like I'll never get warm. A beach would make me feel so much better. Marnie
Hi Marmee, Your photos are so beautifully composed! Each one of them paints your story, your surroundings...and your words describe a precious time, 2 sisters spending some peaceful, quiet moments together! I miss the beach, the ocean--walking along on the sand, for miles and miles! Awakening early to watch the sunrise each morning--(One of my favorite pasttimes)! Thanks for sharing a part of your getaway with me;-) Jan

it has been one incredible rest at the beach...we have thoroughly spoiled ourselves for the trips to come...no schedule...no rules...so much fun. thank you all for your wonderful comments. i still have a few busy days left in florida with a few nurseries to visit and plants to take home and a final visit with my daughter and to see what abbey has learned with her horse riding lessons.
Dear Marmee, This is a treasure chest post filled with fantastic delights. You and your sister are so special. I am missing mine today so will enjoy knowing you are having great sis time on the beach. Sherry

I am a happily married woman of 27 years. I lived in Florida for 40 years and moved to Tn in 2000. We lived in the city of Brentwood for 6 years and move to Leiper's Fork in May of 2007. We have been in the country for about six years now on a 7.24 acre farm. We call it Dash Home Farm. Da-for Dave and Sh-for Sharon. We live in a victorian farmhouse made to look old(it acts old). We love the community of Leiper's Fork and the quaintness of the town (no lights).

Marmee,
If only there were more hours in a day. I'm sure we could 'talk' them each away... no matter how many waking minutes were given us.
So absolutely peaceful here... time to head back to the beach for one more sunset my dear sister!
