jade's kittens

three weeks ago the kittens were born/on dh's birthday.
abbey and i were in florida but knew they were in good hands.
jade decided abbey's bed was the place to have them.

they are adorable.
jade is tiny and they seem to be small too.
she is being the best little mommy.
do you see the little black one nursing across the top of her.
there are three grey ones and one black.
so far they still have their blue eyes...but we shall see.
everyone of them has a forever home already.

two cute.

Marmee, you certainly are embracing the 'farm life' with the animals having babies and gardens galore!

I bet they are romping all over the place by now. Kittens find the funniest things to do and they are so fun to watch with all their cute antics.

Those little grey kitties are so adorable. Isn't it interesting she had all plain colored kittens with no markings. I don't know if I've ever seen that.

The little feral family of kittens is still around-- darting in and out of the garden in the early mornings usually.
hugs to the family- Meems

Oh, these are just too adorable, Marmee! We used to have a litter of kittens here every year, but as it got harder and harder to find a "forever home" for them, I had to take their Mama in to get fixed. My grandkids sure miss baby kittens, though; I bet Abbey is having a wonderful time with them.

I think I forgot to leave a comment the other day--good to see Beatrice looking better and well-fed. Thank goodness for the kindness of strangers to see that she found home once again.

Marmee, This post gets the adorable and precious award. The kitties are wonderful...with those blues eyes...I am so glad you have forever homes for them already.

dear meems,

if it were up to me we would already have many more animals...pigmy goats, sheep, some chickens...who knows what else.
our little kittens have just gotten moved out to the potting shed. they are in a huge box and haven't figured out how to get out but soon very soon. they are just starting to play with each other. i have had a litter of anything in soooo long so it has been wonderful. i had not thought about the fact that they had no markings...but that is unusal isn't it?
what are you going to do about those feral cats...they will grow up and breed and then you will have a bunch of wild kitties.
love and hugs.

susie,

we are having fun with the little kittens...how can anything be so cute?

darla,

i keep thinking one of them has to have those beautiful green/gold eyes jade has...but you never know.

rose,

you are so right...abbey is having the time of her life with these babies. i just moved them out of her room yesterday to the potting shed. they are starting to get a lot more active. i am going to get jade fixed as soon as she stops nursing. it was so great to have a litter but i know it is becoming increasingly harder to find good homes.
beatrice is doing so much better and seems to be happy to be hanging around at home again. i hope she doesn't have a need to wander again.

esther,

i glad you said that...they are irresistable. did you show them to grace? what does she think? they are just starting to play so it will be interesting to see their personalities coming out. jade is a quite, sweet girl...so it would be nice to have some like her.

Hi Marmee.....me again. I don't know how I missed your post on Bea.....sweet Bea.....
I am so glad she is improving, and with the family's help will soon be back to her 'normal self'.
Thank goodness the strangers found her and let you know where she was...

Now listen Bea, no more a wandering......you don't know just how lucky you are......

How adorable, Marmee ... love the baby blue kitten eyes! So enjoyed catching up on all the things you love ... your pure passion shows in every descriptive detail of your beautiful life. Happy Summer :)

dear cheryl,

yes we have such beautiful kittens...they are delightful.

beatrice is doing quite well. i think she is home to stay. i can't see fencing her in or putting her on a tiedown...she seems quite content to be home now. mostly laying in the dry creek bed...i wonder what she will do when it rains.
happy summer days!
