fresh flowers

the sun is shining gloriously.
...it certainly feels like spring.

a good sweep of the porch...windows and doors are flung open...
cool breezes blow in...now all i need is some
fresh cut flowers to add the right touch for such
delightful weather...enter red and white gerber daisies...ahhhh.

Never lose an opportunity of seeing anything beautiful, for beauty is God's handwriting.

Gerbera daisies are quite pretty and do make wonderful cut flowers. Love that quote and I couldn't agree with it more!

Dear Marmee,
I too love to have fresh flowers in my vases. It will be a few more weeks before the garden daffodils are ready for cutting.
The Gerber's are lovely!
Happy Spring!

dear sherry,
happy spring to you.
we are going to be cooling down here too. rain and cool temps.
but we have had many days of beautiful, sunny weather so no complaining.
i have cut back on fresh flowers... but i will be growing my own soon and then we will have them indoors and out.

"Fresh flowers turn a house into a home"
it always makes me feel right when there are fresh flowers in the house. those vases came from my visit down at meems house. she took me to her gardening places and i brought them home.
our weather has been so nice for the weekend and thru today...we are heading for cooler temps the rest of the week.
