Congrats to your son...I can see that he and his sister favor each other...Is it the eyes? Or the smile? Marmee, I know you are deeply proud of him! Gail
thank you gail, jesse and abbey do favour each other in looks...very different in personality. i am so glad to have gotten through these high school years with one more.
Hi Marmee, What a neat tribute to Jesse.. They make DVD's these days of important events in one's life, don't they???? What a handsome young man. What is he going to do next year?
Looks like your family really gave you a wonderful Mother's Day.
Dear Marmee, Congrats to Jessie and to you! I have so enjoyed catching up with you this morning. You have lots and lots of gardening going on! Everything looks so pretty! I am looking forward to seeing all your fresh produce from the garden. I know I love going out to the garden for supper as I bet you do too. It has been too wet for me to do much in the gardens. I must get some weeding done! Another rainy day today. I am enjoying the cool temperatures. Sherry
Dear Marmee....What a lovely young man.....my heartfelt congratulations to him. May life treat him kindly and all his dreams come true......you must be so very proud......
betsy, glad you are home and blogging again. thank you about jesse, i do think they make videos about pretty much everything these days but this is a small group of homeschoolers. jesse is as kind and dear as he is handsome, a very likeable young man. he is not quite sure what he wants to do but scored well on act test so could go just about anywhere to school that he wants. i did have a wonderful mother's day, everyone worked very hard to make sure it was great. hope you had a great one too.
it has been lots of work in the garden but it is all starting to poke through the ground and we will be harvest before we know it. the wet/coolness has slowed things down a bit and some things just are tired of having wet feet. this is the most rain i can remember in a spring...things just don't know have to react. it does make weeding easier but a lot of weeds are already thriving.yuck. glad you had some time to catch up been missing you.
cheryl, what sweet sentiments towards jesse. thank you so much. jesse is a kindhearted young man and i too hope his dreams come true. he deserves a rewarding life...he has been a pleasure to have as a son.

We love the community of Leiper's Fork and the quaintness of the town (no lights).
