hello cheryl i only wish esther could live here so we could celebrate her day together. we did while she was visiting. she is a very wonderful daughter and i love that she is mine. thanks for joining in on the fun.
good morning betsy, actually i am the blessed one to have her as my daughter...she is gracious, kind, generous, and a sheer pleasure to be around. thanks for celebrating with us.
I clearly remember the day the gift of our Esther arrived... She got here fast... remember that? Of course you do ~~~ what a joy she has been all of her sweet life! A perfect day to celebrate her! Love all the photos.
Renny is settling in nicely too. All that help and energy given for her farm accomodations must make her feel very welcomed. It's all looking very nice.
Hi Marmee, Happy Birthday to Esther. Your family is wonderful and it is so heartwarming to read and see photos of their togetherness, especially on the shelter project. Seeing the great expanse for Renny to run and enjoy life brings a smile as well. How funny and perfect, as soon as the project is finished, you need to make it larger. :-) Frances
i hadn't thought about her very quick arrival in a while. wow was she in a hurry once she decided to come. she has certainly been a delight to have as a daughter and friend. we enjoyed our brief/hectic time she had visiting with us in july. can't wait to see her again in october. renny is doing well...no problems with his allergies...which has to be nice for him.
good morning frances...we are blessed to be able to have renny and to give him a great place to live. he seems happy here and no allergy problems. it felt great working together to accomplish this goal of a fence and shelter. it was good for everyone to work together. with all the rain we are postponing the expansion...but one day soon.
Happy birthday to Esther! I know that for a mother a child's birthday is extra special. I enjoyed seeing your family come together to build the new fence and horse shelter; you make even work look like fun!

I am a happily married woman of 27 years. I lived in Florida for 40 years and moved to Tn in 2000. We lived in the city of Brentwood for 6 years and move to Leiper's Fork in May of 2007. We have been in the country for about six years now on a 7.24 acre farm. We call it Dash Home Farm. Da-for Dave and Sh-for Sharon. We live in a victorian farmhouse made to look old(it acts old). We love the community of Leiper's Fork and the quaintness of the town (no lights).
