THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!

hey gigi here I am! it's me maggie, maggs, magita, magpie. you name they call me it. it is so undignified. but being the loyal companion i am i answer. although my latest trick is to act like i am hard of hearing. don't tell MARMEE i told you.
marmee had to shut the door to get these pictures as i have a dreaded fear of the camera flash. i think it is lightning which is my worst fear. usually you can find me in abbey's bathtub during stormy weather.

i am already hunching over with excitement at my picture being made, NOT!
OF COURSE BUSTER BROWN DIDN'T WANT TO BE THE ONLY DOG LEFT OFF. SO HE GOT PUSHY AND PUT HIS FACE RIGHT IN MARMEE LENS.
THESE YOUNGEN'S AROUND HERE URK ME TO NO END. BUT AS YOU KNOW MARMEE HAS A WEAKNESS WHEN IT COMES TO DOGS, CATS, BIRDS, BUNNIES, ETC...

i overheard (still pretending not to hear so well) about a trip to the fair and how the pigmy goats were sooooo cute.
oh bother, before you know it they will be here, too!

Your dogs are adorable. Poor Maggie looks terrified of getting her picture taken. I see the other one is a big ham though, lol.

what adorable dogs! My kitten, Luka, also hates the camera. She always blinks as the flash comes on. It's so hard to take a good picture of your animals.

dp,
well buster likes to pose like the weinaraners for wegman. maybe around the end of october i'll post them. he lets me dress him up and really anything i want. it is so funny to see him as spiderman.

She does look scared. What adorable doggies! My doggies don't mind the flash, but I snapped some cows yesterday and they were NOT happy. Funny.

Ah, I love dogs. I can't remember a time in my life when I didn't have one. Yours are so sweet. I think they are good pics. Cats on the other hand, come in two types. Those who like to pose and those who hate cameras with a passion. Guess which type I got. They glare at the camera and put back their ears.
Solo sits still for his pics though. Of course he is a dog. Dogs for the most part, try to please their BFF....not a cat...LOL

Goats, did you say goats! I could use one to clean out my way back back yard!

Thank you for your recent visit to my blog. Adorable dogs! I see you are a transplant from Florida. I just posted a walk on a Florida beach if you are feeling a bit home sick, stop by anytime.

gail,
yes i said goats but cute smallish pigmy goats. adorable. i think using them to keep a certain amount of the grass cut is what i have in mind.

Okay, I'm not going to say anything about the goats. :-) Aren't you thanking God for that?

I'm so sad for Mags getting run around by all the younger pups AND she doesn't like the paparazzi. She's a good one and I know she LOVES YOU dearly.

I know some people that try that hard of hearing game...

marmee said...

listen meems what can i say about goats we do live on a farm!

because maggs love me she puts up with me just like some others around here>

i know she is not the only who pulls the hard of hearing thing... hehe
just whisper, "food" they all come running and i'm talking people.

Very cute dogs...so it that handsome dogs? You know they can hear when all it takes is the rustling of a certain bag or getting the can opener out of a drawer and they come running!!
The Sunflowers are huge!! I didn't grow that variety. The seed growth patterns are so interesting and it seems there is a lesson in them!

Hi Marmee, my Aggie is like that too. It doesn't even have to be the flash, she just hates to have a camera pointed at her. It's like a little kid going thru that camera shy stage.

Hi sweet Maggie! I can't believe this post was in my honor and I have been too busy to read & respond. I am so very glad to see you are still going strong, even in your aging years. We senior citizens have to stick up for ourselves, don't we? Especially when the young whippersnappers try to take our space from us! Well, just remember you are the grand dame of the household, and there is only one wonderful you! I always enjoyed your company on my visits, with you following me around the house. So glad you allowed some new pics to be taken for Marmee's post. You go girl! No other dog, cat, or goat can take your place! Lots of love, Gigi
